Name: Steven Lee
From: Annandale, Virginia
School: College of Engineering
Major: Computer systems engineering

What convinced you to go to BU?

Mostly, Boston University’s campus setting attracted me. Boston is a very vivacious city. Also, among the schools that I’ve been accepted to, Boston University was the best one.

What are you most excited about coming to college?

I am definitely excited about the “college life” that everyone has been talking about, and living by myself without my family’s direct support is also exciting.

What are you most nervous about coming to college?

I am nervous about paying back my loan.

What kinds of activities do you want to become involved in?

I might join the band and men’s crew.

What is one of the goals of your first year at BU?

One of the goals is that I make a lot of friends, possibly from the same school so that I can get some help, if necessary.

What accomplishment are you most proud of?

I was awarded the Spirit Award from my high school band for two years, and I switched instruments and joined the top band the following year.

What will be your first stop when you start exploring the city of Boston?

Hmmm. First stop. Boston College, since it’s the destination of the outbound Green Line. Hahaha.

How are you spending your summer vacation?

I am spending my summer vacation with my high school friends and my family. Along with that, I will be working on some scholarships and I will be working at Staples.
