Amanda Szaraz

Amanda Szaraz (CAS’04, Wheelock’05) of Chicago, Ill., was named the 2019 Illinois School Counselor of the Year by the Illinois School Counselor Association. She will be honored at a ceremony in Washington, D.C., in winter 2020. Amanda is a school counselor with Chicago public schools, where she has advocated to create systemic change, allowing for students to have increased access to their school counselors.
