Aurora Joan Stone (UNI’93, STH’96) of Somerset, United Kingdom, writes that 2018 was a busy year: “In February I got married in Bath. In August we moved out of the city into the country and are now living in the area of the Somerset Levels known as Avalon, between Glastonbury and Wells. We have a small orchard and a much bigger garden than in Bath. With the leaves off of our ginkgo tree in the front garden, from our guest bedroom and the upstairs landing, we can see Glastonbury Tor. It is a magical place to live. In December and January we have masses of starlings who winter over. They are amazing to watch; we have our own mini murmurations several times a day as they swoop in to feed and twitter in the trees of the larger orchard adjacent to ours. We don’t miss Bath at all!”
