Cindy Urrutia

Cindy Urrutia (CAS’98) of Clovis, Calif., has written and edited many exhibition catalogues through the Press at California State University Fresno over the last few years, including Malaquias Montoya, A Voice for the Voiceless (2019), Insider Art: Exploring the Arts within Prison Environments, a Collection of Work from Avenal State Prison (2018), Unsung Heroes: Do You Know Who I Am?: A Pictorial Exhibit Honoring Central Valley African American Veterans (2018), Magnifying the People’s Voices: A Laureate’s Journey Across America (2017), and Elotes con Sangre, the Journey Home, Photographs and ‘Nierikas’ (yarn paintings) of the Land of the Wixáritari, First Peoples, the Huichol Nation of Mexico, 1970 (2016).
