David Schmal

David Schmal (CFA’13) of Forest, Va., worked for 10 years at Lesley University as an adjunct professor of integrated arts around the time he was completing his PhD at Boston University. After graduating from BU, he was hired by Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va., as an associate professor of music. He was recently promoted to full professor and also is the director of film scoring studies. Over the past 15 years, David has been involved as a composer, conductor, and music supervisor for more than 20 film and television projects, including three feature films.
