Felice De Ruggiero
Felice De Ruggiero (SSW’93) of West Newbury, Mass., writes, “I have been a state employee for 26 years. I worked for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health as a social worker on the AIDS unit at Lemuel Shattuck Hospital in Jamaica Plain from 1993 to 2007.” Since 2007, she has worked with chronically mentally ill adults at the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health. She and her clinical social work team received a 2019 Commonwealth Citation for Outstanding Performance Award from commissioner Joan Mikula. They were honored along with other state winners at a breakfast at Worcester Recovery Center Hospital in
