Floyd K. Takeuchi

Floyd K. Takeuchi (COM’75) (center) of Honolulu, Hawaii, a photographer-writer, showed his photos from the islands of Chuuk State in the Federated States of Micronesia in the solo exhibition Tropical Light, which opened in Tokyo in May 2017. The exhibition, sponsored by the Association for Promotion of International Cooperation, a Tokyo-based private foundation, traveled to Sophia University, Tsuda University, Toyo University, the Japan International Cooperation Agency’s Global Plaza gallery, and the National Day reception of the Embassy of the Federated States of Micronesia in Japan, which was attended by more than 800 guests. Floyd is pictured here at the opening of the exhibit at Toyo University on November 2, 2018.
