Harvey Widell

Harvey Widell (CFA’57) of Boynton Beach, Fla., writes that he “retired to the Sunshine State in 1998. Within months, offers to act and direct began to drift in.” Today, Harvey performs with and directs two traveling theater troupes: Way Off-Broadway Players and Theater Voices. He recently starred as Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof, and in March 2018, at the age of 86, he played Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady. Both of these were Cascades Theater Company productions. Harvey is also a freelance writer and a fellow of the National Endowment for the Humanities. “Retire?.... Why?” he says.
