Jan Karlin
Jan Karlin (CFA’78) of Pasadena, Calif., published What’s Next? Creativity in the Age of Entertainment (BookBaby, 2017). “As a Grammy Award–winning musician, a leading nonprofit executive director for over 30 years, an educator, and an entrepreneur, I have a unique set of experiences that helped shape my book’s discussion of creativity today,” she writes. “My current role as the first American artistic advisor to Vietnam resulted from producing the first cultural exchange between Vietnam and the US, sponsored by the US Department of State in 2010. Many of the skills for my career were developed during my years at Boston University, so I hope that my experiences and views explored in the book would be of interest to the BU community.” Learn more at https://jankarlin.com.
