Joanne Derbort

Joanne Derbort (CAS’72, COM’75) of Sausalito, Calif., was part of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat team that won a 2018 Pulitzer Prize in breaking news for  “lucid and tenacious coverage of historic wildfires that ravaged the city of Santa Rosa and Sonoma County.” At the time, Joanne was an assigning city editor at the Press Democrat.
