John Macchi (CGS’63) of Coral Springs, Fla., writes, “My wife, Patti, and I took a spur-of-the-moment around-the-world trip. We flew out of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., to Doha, Qatar, then on to Bali, Indonesia, for a week. From Bali, we traveled to Australia, Fiji, New Caledonia, Samoa, Hawaii, San Francisco, and back home to Florida. One interesting part of the trip was experiencing the same day twice as we crossed the International Date Line from Samoa to American Samoa. And yes, what they say about Bali is true.
