Laura Blacklow (CFA’67) of Cambridge, Mass., announces the release of the fifth edition of her book New Dimensions in Photo Processes: A Step-by-Step Manual for Alternative Techniques (Routledge, 2018), which “invites artists in all visual media to discover contemporary approaches to historical sun-printing as well as recent techniques. Painters, printmakers, and photographers alike will find value in this practical book, as these processes require little to no knowledge of photography, digital means, or chemistry.” She teaches at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University and maintains a studio practice hand-making artist’s books and prints.
