Lincoln Phillips
Lincoln Phillips (CAS’76) of Gaithersburg, Md., published his first book, Stop the Americans (Patriot Books, 2018), a novel of suspense set in 1992 in which a senior Mossad executive is seeking asylum in the United States in return for information on X, a deep-cover Israeli source working at the highest levels of the United States intelligence community. “The existence of X was disclosed during a real-world spy scandal of the 1980s, but was never fully identified by name and position,” Lincoln writes. “Mossad accidentally learns of the defection on the very day that it is being carried out, forcing CIA intelligence officers to take drastic measures to ensure success of the operation.”
