Marius Péladeau

Marius Péladeau (COM’57) of Readfield, Maine, was honored with the Spirit of America Award from the town of Readfield, Maine, in summer 2018, for his dedication in leading the restoration of the Readfield Union Meeting House, a building of significant artistic and historical importance because of its famous trompe l’oeil murals. He served as board president for the Readfield Union Meeting House for nine years and has since stepped down to become vice president and historian. He also reports that his wife, Mildred, passed away in November 2017 from Parkinson’s disease.
