Nancy Harhut (COM’82) of Newton Center, Mass., writes, “It’s been a whirlwind year, with lots of travel and speaking, including keynoting conferences in Sydney, Australia, and London, England, and presenting at SXSW and Marketing Nation. My focus is applying behavioral science to marketing in order to tap into hardwired decision defaults that increase the likelihood people will do what marketers want them to. In fact, I recently cofounded an agency, HBT Marketing, that specializes in this approach.
