Randie Gottlieb
Randie Gottlieb (Wheelock’82) of Yakima, Wash., is the author of Teaching Unity: A Guide for Parents and Teachers with Learning Activities for Ages 8–12 (UnityWorks LLC, 2013). “This easy-to-use curriculum package contains a treasury of fun, hands-on learning activities,” she writes. “It is easily adaptable for older and younger children as well. Topics include unity, diversity, skin color, and overcoming prejudice. Its purpose is to help prepare our children to live as citizens in a global society, recognizing our interdependence and being respectful of our differences.”
