Rhonda (Nicoll) Miller
Rhonda (Nicoll) Miller (COM’73) of Bowling Green, Ky., a reporter and producer for WKU Public Radio in Bowling Green, was awarded a Journalists on Aging Fellowship from the Gerontological Society of America (GSA). The first part of the fellowship was a GSA conference in Boston attended by 4,000 researchers on aging issues. Rhonda’s fellowship public radio projects are on the effects of exercise on mobility and cognition in older adults and the impact of language barriers, hunger, and isolation on elderly refugees in Kentucky. Rhonda is also a writing and podcasting instructor for Creative Nonfiction in Pittsburgh and a writer for a mental health group in Boston. Contact Rhonda at rjmillerradio@gmail.com.
