Richard H. Gentzler

Richard H. Gentzler (STH’83) of Gallatin, Tenn., published An Age of Opportunity: Intentional Ministry by, with, and for Older Adults (Discipleship Resources, 2018). In his retirement, Richard serves as director of Encore Ministries for the Golden Cross Foundation of the Tennessee Conference of the United Methodist Church. In addition, he was recently elected president of the board of directors for the Council on Aging of Middle Tennessee. He was featured in a recent Aging Matters program on elder abuse awareness produced by Nashville Public Television. Visit www.encoretnumc.org.
