Rod Hochman (CAS’79, MED’79) of Seattle, Wash., president and CEO of Providence St. Joseph Health, received the 2019 Gail L. Warden Leadership Excellence Award last November from the National Center for Healthcare Leadership in recognition of his “creating an organization with a strategic focus of population health, whole person care, mental health, and genomics medicine, while remaining committed to its mission to serve all, especially the poor and vulnerable, through its core values of compassion, dignity, justice, excellence, and integrity.”
