Sylvia Delafield
Sylvia Delafield (COM’84) of Washington, D.C., cofounded a consulting business about 20 years ago that focuses on developing international media campaigns and private sector partnerships for donors, businesses, NGOs, and nonprofits. Most of her work has been focused on public health, the environment, human rights, and security issues. She is working on a new project, based in India, designing and testing a mobile app to help young people make healthy life choices. “I have had the honor to have lived in Japan, Indonesia, and Hawaii and have worked all over Asia and the Pacific, Africa, and the Caribbean,” she writes. “I would enjoy connecting with classmates who are working in the international sphere and with BU alumni from the 1980s who live in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, or in India, when I am there.
