Tarun Singh (CGS’10, CAS’12) of Port Washington, N.Y., along with friends from Indiana University, Russell Saks and Mike Yewdell, watched friends spend hundreds of dollars for nutritional supplements at local stores. They thought, “Why not sell supplements themselves, combining competitive prices with fast delivery?” The business took off and the three realized their company, Campus Protein, could be a major hit. Today, Campus Protein is on 300 US campuses with 1,500 student representatives, its own branded line of nutritional supplements, and $1 million in Series A investment funding.
