Tom Sansone (CAS’82, LAW’85) of Bethany, Conn., is president of WIKS-USA, a nonprofit that provides technical and financial assistance to the Nambale Magnet School in rural western Kenya. The school educates children orphaned or rendered vulnerable by the AIDS pandemic. “The school provides an opportunity for disadvantaged children to obtain a quality education in a nurturing environment, enabling them to overcome the social stigma of AIDS,” Tom writes. “My wife and I have visited the school twice and have seen it grow from a ‘pioneer’ class of 32 to its current enrollment of 222.” Learn more at www.nambalemagnet.org, or email Tom at tomsansone@comcast.net.
