Victor Rojas
Victor Rojas (MET’11) of Chino Hills, Calif., was selected as California’s 2019 ACT Postsecondary Champion. Champions are high school seniors, K–12 professionals, postsecondary professionals, and workforce professionals who are making a positive impact on their communities through their efforts to advance college and career readiness for all. Victor was recognized for his work as director of TRiO Programs at Mt. San Antonio College, which help students, especially those who come from first-generation, low-income, and underrepresented backgrounds, progress to college and succeed in higher education. “I am extremely humbled, as only one higher education professional from every state gets selected each year among the hundreds who get nominated,” Victor writes.
