Daniel J. Rabone Memorial Scholarship

Daniel J. Rabone (CFA’91) was an active participant in Boston-area community theatre plays and musicals, and inspired audiences with his vibrancy, creativity and humanity. The Daniel J. Rabone Memorial Fund has been established to continue Daniel’s legacy as a theatre artist and mentor.

The Daniel J. Rabone Memorial Scholarship provides financial support for one or more attendees of the Boston University Summer Theatre Institute each year; specifically for students who live in and around the Greater Boston area. All applicants for financial aid are automatically considered for this Scholarship; there is no separate application required. Recipients will be notified along with their financial aid decision.

Suggestions for External Funding

Students have also found success in the pursuit of outside scholarship and Financial Aid options in their schools and communities. We encourage interested students to investigate all options, including school activities clubs and local clubs such as the Rotary, Kiwanis, etc.
