After coaching her <i>Margaret Songs<\/i> at the SongFest summer music festival yesterday, Regan and Victoria were able to talk with the composer herself. BU SOM faculty member Javier Arrebola, collaborative piano, is also a faculty member at the festival.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">SongFest provides the United States&#8217; premier art song festivals and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.songfest.us\/\">training programs<\/a>: their summer institute held each June at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.colburnschool.edu\/\">The Colburn School<\/a> in Los Angeles and a new winter intensive at<a href=\"http:\/\/www.songfest.us\/new-winter-intensive-in-hidden-valley\"> Hidden Valley<\/a><span> in Carmel Valley. SongFest attracts an internationally distinguished roster of artist teachers as well as students from some of the nation\u2019s top music conservatories.
