The chaos of American womanhood plays out in Beasts<\/em> with the fraught relationship between Fran, a pregnant suburbanite, and her older sister Judy, an irreverent artist with a propensity for disruption. Judy\u2019s surprise visit to suburbia turns labyrinthine as the sisters\u2019 psychological bond plays out in magical-realistic and surreal intensity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beasts<\/em> is a BU New Play Initiative production, produced by Boston Playwrights\u2019 Theatre and the Boston University College of Fine Arts School of Theatre. Written by Cayenne Douglass and directed by Kelly Galvin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
