The Trombone Workshop is under the direction of BU Associate Professor of Music,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/id-andrea.cms-devl.bu.edu\/cfa\/about\/contact-directions\/directory\/don-lucas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Don Lucas<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Group classes focusing on fundamentals and musicianship<\/li>\n<li>Class time devoted to the fundamentals and technical aspects of trombone: sound, rhythm, intonation, articulation, balance, vibrato, embouchure, air control, and slide technique<\/li>\n<li>Individualized attention and masterclasses<\/li>\n<li>Performance opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Boston University transferable course credit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Related Programs<\/h4>\n<p>BUTI encourages you to apply to every program for which you&#8217;re interested and eligible. Any student applying for scholarship must complete the scholarship section of the admissions application, even if only applying for a merit-based award (the scholarship application is found within the digital admissions application).
