BUSTi 2024: June 30-July 27<\/h3>\n

BU\u2019s Summer Theatre Institute annually admits high school students who are passionate about taking the next step in their training<\/span>.\u00a0 We celebrate students who are driven to collaborate with other artists, and curious to unleash the possibilities of the theatrical form.<\/p>\n

We accept applications from rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors in high school.<\/p>\n

The BUSTI 2024 application will go live on December 1, 2023, and will close on March 29, 2024.<\/p>\n

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS<\/h4>\n

To apply, you will need to submit your materials via our Application Page<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Please plan to include:<\/p>\n

A Statement of Intent & A Personal Essay<\/h5>\n

Written or Filmed \u2013 introduce yourself and tell us why you are interested in participating in BUSTi.\u00a0 Please also answer a creative prompt listed on the application.<\/p>\n

Your Headshot, or a Photo of you<\/h5>\n

This does not need to be professionally taken, but should be a .pdf or .jpg file.<\/p>\n

These Required Supporting Materials<\/h5>\n

  • One Letter of Recommendation<\/strong> that speaks to your work as a theatre maker, artist, or student.\u00a0 You will be able to upload your letter directly, or send a form to your Recommender, who can upload on your behalf.\u00a0 Please do not mail or e-mail letters of recommendation.<\/em><\/li>\n
  • $75 Application Fee<\/strong> made payable to Boston University (as a personal check, cashier\u2019s check, or money order) sent via mail:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
