Letter of Agreement<\/a><\/p>\nADDITIONAL REGISTRATION FORMS<\/h4>\n
The following forms must be filled out by each VASI student and their parent or guardian, and returned via mail or emailed to buvasi@bu.edu.\u00a0 All forms should be received by May 1st.<\/p>\n
\n- The Summer Programs Health Form<\/a> should be filled out by the student\u2019s physician.\u00a0 This form includes the Massachusetts State immunization requirements that all students studying at Boston University must meet.\u00a0 International students should consult with their physician to ensure that they have received all of these immunizations.<\/li>\n
- The VASI Rules & Policies Acknowledgement Form<\/a> should be filled out by both the student and parent\/guardian. Please read through the “BUSTI\/VASI Rules & Policies<\/a>“<\/em> in its entirety before signing the form.<\/li>\n
- The VASI Treatment Consent Form<\/a> should be filled out by the student\u2019s parent or guardian.\u00a0 This form allows a student to receive hospital care in the event of an emergency.<\/li>\n
- The Parental Acknowledgement Form<\/a> must be signed by the student\u2019s parent or guardian.<\/li>\n
- The VASI Media Release<\/a> is optional (although we do appreciate the opportunity to include students in our publications).<\/li>\n
- The Uber-Lyft Policy Agreement<\/a> must be signed by the student and the student’s parent or guardian.<\/li>\n
- The Microfridge Rental Form is an optional amenity but requires the completion of this form.\u00a0Form will be available in May 2023.<\/em><\/li>\n
- A Fitrec Membership<\/a> is an optional amenity students can purchase.<\/li>\n
- The BU Housing application and the Residential Life Agreement will be completed online through the BU Housing portal. BU Housing has been provided with the VASI roster and should be sending out housing applications shortly to the student\u2019s email address.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
TUITION<\/h4>\n
The residential program fee including tuition, activity fee and room and board is $5,842 with the 14 meals\/week plan or $6,042 with the 19 meals\/week plan.\u00a0 Most students find the 14 meal plan to be sufficient, as there are plenty of places for a quick breakfast or lunch on campus, and meals are occasionally provided as part of VASI activities. Students choose their meal plan when they fill out their BU Housing application.<\/p>\n
The commuter program fee including tuition and activity fee is $3,850.\u00a0 Commuter students will have the opportunity to purchase Convenience Points at the beginning of the program so that they may eat with their classmates in the dining hall.<\/p>\n
VASI Scholarship recipients will have their scholarship amount applied to their student account by VASI, and will be responsible for paying the remainder.<\/p>\n
TUITION PAYMENT<\/h4>\n
All payments for VASI other than the Enrollment Deposit are handled by BU Student Accounting Services<\/a>.\u00a0 BU Student Accounting Services accepts checks, credit cards, debit cards, bank transfers, and international wire transfers.\u00a0 Detailed payment instructions will be sent to each student after the enrollment deposit has been received and a BU student account is created.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"VASI ENROLLMENT DEPOSIT A non-refundable Enrollment Deposit of $300 is required to reserve a student\u2019s space in VASI.
