Students must complete and submit an Internship Proposal outlining the goals and objectives before beginning their placement. Visual Arts students may pursue up to two internships for course credit during their academic study.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"font-weight: 500;\">Steps for obtaining an Internship for Credit (CFA AR 572)<\/h5>\n<ol style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li><b><strong>Find a Placement<\/strong><\/b><span>\u00a0<\/span>\u2013 Find an internship placement through independent research or by taking advantage of campus resources including the Arts Internship Fair, the SVA Newsletter, or the<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/careers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Boston University Center for Career Development<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><b><strong>Get Approval<\/strong><\/b><span>\u00a0<\/span>\u2013 Complete and submit an internship proposal form.<span>\u00a0<\/span>Determine the goals, objectives and deliverables for the internship.<\/li>\n<li><b><strong>Confirm Placement<\/strong><\/b><span>\u00a0<\/span>\u2013 Once the internship is approved for credit, arrange schedule with intern site and make sure to meet the hour requirements for credit.
