Angela Coletta-Acevedo

Angela Coletta-Acevedo directs the Graduate Admissions Office at Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development, overseeing BU Wheelock’s engagement and recruitment strategy. She works to attract academically strong and passionate graduate students in the field of education and human development.

Prior to joining BU Wheelock, Ms. Coletta-Acevedo served as assistant director of admissions at the Boston University School of Public Health (SPH). There, she oversaw the Select Scholars engagement and diversity and inclusion pipeline program and was part of an admissions team that oversaw the matriculation of one of the largest classes in SPH’s history. She also previously served as assistant director of access and success strategies at the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education, where she focused on expanding college access and success programming for traditionally underserved students.
