
Cary Boles
Part-Time Instructor
Cary Boles is an adjunct professor at Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development. She is an educator and instructional coach with a deep interest in the instruction of literacy (reading, writing, listening and speaking). Ms. Boles shares her expertise gained from working in public schools in Rocky Mount (North Carolina), Chelsea, Mass., and Boston for the past two decades. In these schools, she taught grades 1, 2, 3, and 5, substantially separate special education, reading intervention, and ESL before becoming an instructional coach for new and experienced teachers.
Ms. Boles provided professional development and coaching for Teach For America Corps members, the Boston Teacher Residency Program, and Dudley Street Neighborhood Charter School. She is a transformation instructional coach for Boston Public Schools based at the Condon K–8 School in South Boston.
