Part-Time Instructor

Falon E. Eke is a part-time instructor at Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development. She is an educator with a deep interest in empowering immigrant and refugee families through language and literacy. As an immigrant to the United States, Ms. Eke is aware of some of the difficulties that come with adjusting to life in a new country, and the benefits of having a strong support system. With this knowledge, she works with students to develop strategies that support language and literacy development both in and out of the classroom. Ms. Eke is also the director of adult learning for the Chelsea Public Schools and oversees the Intergenerational Literacy Program, a collaborative effort between the Chelsea Public Schools and BU Wheelock.
