
Michelle McKeon
Doctoral Student
Michelle McKeon is a doctoral student in educational leadership & policy studies at Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development. She joined the EdD program to work with fellow educators to advance educational opportunities for all students. She currently serves as assistant superintendent of schools in North Attleborough, Massachusetts.
As a former teacher and school principal, Michelle has worked tirelessly at creating collaborative school environments where students are placed at the center of the learning experience. During Michelle’s tenure as principal, her school was recognized as one of the US Department of Education’s Blue Ribbon Schools for their work in closing achievement gaps. Looking ahead, Michelle plans to continue her work of building inclusive school environments where every student feels a sense of belonging within the school community and can reach their full potential.
