
Nam Nguyen
Part-Time Instructor
Nam Nguyen is a research and teaching fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He is also a part-time instructor at Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development. His research and teaching primarily focus on education technology, implementing and evaluating the impact of different learning technologies and programs from an international perspective, as well as addressing inequitable gaps between developed and developing countries in the field of EdTech. He has been working under the supervision of Ford Foundation Professor Fernando Reimers and AI in Education Professor Seiji Isotani. Mr. Nguyen serves as a teaching fellow for courses in AI in Education, Media, International Education Policy, Social Innovation, and Statistics for Educational Research.
Before his academic career in the US, Mr. Nguyen served in various roles including high school teacher, assistant principal of a high school in Hanoi, where he taught and developed courses in global perspectives, civics education, Vietnamese studies, and service learning. He also worked as a consultant for the College Board, leading multiple technology programs and initiatives.
