The BU Wheelock Alumni Awards honor those alumni of Wheelock College of Education & Human Development who, through their work and service, elevate the standards of excellence in their professional fields and bring us closer to achieving a more just and equitable society.  Each year, we recognize exceptional alumni for their unique contributions, be it as educators, counselors, advocates, leaders, or other professions.

The recipients of the 2023 BU Wheelock Alumni Awards will be honored at the Alumni Awards Ceremony & Reception, held on Thursday, September 21, during Boston University’s Alumni Weekend. Nominations

Nominations for BU Wheelock Alumni Awards may be submitted by faculty, staff, alumni, or peers in the community.  Awardees are honored at a ceremony held during Boston University’s Alumni Weekend.  All previous graduates (both undergraduate and graduate) of BU Wheelock, BU School of Education, and Wheelock College are eligible for consideration of these awards. Any award may not be presented if no eminently qualified candidate is identified that year.
