ATLAS Assessment & Referral
Faculty and staff are encouraged to use the ATLAS Referral & Outreach Program to support undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in both part-time and full-time programs at BU Wheelock. Faculty may submit an ATLAS form to document concerns they have about a student that appear to be impeding their success in a course, field experience, work-study position, research or teaching apprenticeship, or other types of student endeavors. If a student is struggling with academic performance, attendance, or class participation, their professor can submit the referral to share this concern with the student and to activate support through the Student Services Office.
A Student Services professional will contact the student, assess their situation, and help them access the additional supports they may need to get back on track.
Submit an ATLAS Assessment & Referral Form
- If you have not enabled your BU Google App, you must do so in order to submit the ATLAS form. (You will only need to do this once.)
- Enable a BU Google App: http://www.bu.edu/tech/about/policies/google-create/
- You can’t access this through your personal Google account.
- Follow the instructions on the website and agree to the terms of use.
- Visit the Google Form: https://goo.gl/forms/AeXHfOFrWpM06ImC2
- This will prompt you to log in with your BU Kerberos credentials.
- You can save this link as a bookmark on your web browser.
- Fill out the form with relevant information and hit submit at the bottom of the page.
