It focuses on the use of evidence-based practices to promote optimal development for children, youth, and young adults in diverse settings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The PhD in Counseling Psychology &amp; Applied Human Development is designed to be completed in four (AHD) to five (CP) academic years. All students enter during the fall semester only, and a minimum of one year of full-time residency is required. Boston University&#8217;s PhD in Counseling Psychology &amp; Applied Human Development program prepares graduates to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Design, implement, and evaluate culturally responsive interventions and learning environments at multiple levels of the social ecology<\/li><li>Produce the research upon which such interventions and learning environments are built<\/li><li>Train and supervise future generations of culturally competent counseling psychologists and researchers in applied human development<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns\">\n<div
