In this role, she supports postsecondary preparation and access for first-generation-to-college high school students from Boston and Chelsea, with a particular focus on providing a foundation for success in science, technology, engineering, and math.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Previously, Ms. Walton managed staff and programming at Bottom Line, a nonprofit college access and persistence organization serving first-generation college students from low-income backgrounds.
