Sam Mendoza (COM’08) analyzes BU's spring style
It’s true that Boston University’s well-honed fashion sense takes a dive in winter — after all, when walking to class means slogging through a knee-high snowdrift, sweatpants become a necessity. But at the first sign of spring, BU students reach deep into their closets to show off the warm-weather fashions that have been lurking there since last fall.
Clothes designer Sam Mendoza (COM’08), a senior advertising major who sells his designs on Newbury Street, hit the streets on a recent sunny day to check out and critique the spring fashions along Commonwealth Avenue.
