There are 2 comments on MLK’s Enduring Legacy

  1. This feature was a great idea thank you, but I am disappointed that no MLK scholars (students on the MLK fellowship) were interviewed…

  2. Compelling and powerful!!! In 1951 while a student at BU, MLK went out on a date with Coretta Scott who was studying voice at the New England Conservatory of Music (NEC). It was a blind date. They attended a concert at Symphony Hall given by great Polish Artur Rubenstein. The fun part is my late father took me, my brother and sister at that concert. Little did I know as many of us that Sunday afternoon in 1951 somewhere in that hall was the presence of a person who would have a powerful effect on all of us years to come. My late father and sister did meet him on Martha’s Vineyard (my father’s birthplace).

MLK was indeed a force to be reckon with!!
